During 2010 the Open Table of Christ conducted an experimental School of Liberation, funded in part by the Board of Church and Society of the United Methodist Church. The school turned traditional ‘Christian Education’ upside down, including offerings in serious Bible study, with both life skills and history and other education required to actually function as an agent of change in the world.

The experiment was very successful and enlightens our current studies and opportunities at the OTC and is a signpost as to where we hope to go eventually as a community when volunteer staff and funding permit full development of this vision.
