Mobile Loaves and Fishes provides food and clothing, and promote dignity, to our homeless brothers and sisters in need. MLF is a catering truck that drives around Rhode Island in an effort to provide a free nutritious meal to the homeless and the working poor. We also supply gently used seasonal clothing. This ministry works with many other churches and organizations in an effort to have the truck on the road as many days as possible.

The needs are so great that it is difficult to describe. Cash donations can be made to the Open Table of Christ UMC with MLF Rhode Island in the memo line to ensure that the funds are applied correctly.

In kind donations of apples, orange, bananas, hard boiled eggs, sandwich meats, cheese, hard individually wrapped candy, containers of ice tea mix, instant coffee, powdered creamer,sugar, or hot chocolate mix (without marshmallows), are always welcomed. We also have a need for personal toiletries (razors, toothbrushes, small soaps from hotels etc) and white socks, mens briefs and t-shirts. If you feel so moved, we welcome your support.
