Medical Support/Clinica Esperanza

Volunteer physical and mental health care is always needed in our community!

Clinic Esperanza, a free quality health provider for uninsured adults in Providence, staffs the Open Table of Christ with nurses who deliver much-needed health assistance to the neighborhood and Project Outreach members. Staff also administer blood pressure, diabetes, and HIV screening in a confidential manner. Referrals to other outside medical sources are made when necessary and a free flu shot clinic is also conducted annually.

The Open Table of Christ has a long-standing relationship of mutual support with Clinica Esperanza/Hope Clinic, who provides triage support through Project Outreach at the OTC. We encourage medical personnel to contact Clarice Gothberg, our Volunteer Coordinator directly at 401.941.2212 or info@opentableofchrist.org directly and then Hope Clinic when interested in finding volunteer health care opportunities at the Open Table.
